Family Time

September 22, 2009

We got to work with the Upchurch/ Painter family recently and had a lot of fun capturing their time together. We always love a good family session. This group stuck it out with us and were real troopers even though it felt like it was 100 degrees outside. There were several times throughout the session where our eyes were burning from the sweat. South Carolina is known for its hot and humid weather in the fall. We were thankful it didn’t rain and even more thankful to photograph such a fun loving family.

Here are a few of our favorites from the session. Cheers. [M]

Madyson being a sweetheart!

The Upchurch Family.

Zoey taking a break from playing catch.

It was pleasure meeting you guys.. y’all are awesome!

As you all may know, Matthew and I traveled to San Francisco in July for our summer vacation. We booked a session with the wonderful Kate Harrison while on our trip. Here are our favorites … although, it was truly tough not to post every single picture on here!

Kate, thank you so much for everything! You have such a kind heart and uplifting spirit which are exemplified in your craft. We are big fans of your photography, but more so your passion to capture the good stuff. Until we meet again, old friend … cheers! [V]

Hugs on one of San Fran’s famous cable cars.

Yup! My husband’s a natural model!

Our absolute favorite! We’ve already ordered a 16 x 20 enlargement to display in our office at home.

If you’re ever in the Bay Area and are looking for a photographer, Matthew and I highly recommend Kate Harrison. She’s amazing!

Oliver Turns One

August 9, 2009

We were excited to get an e-mail from Dawn several weeks ago asking if we would be available to photograph her son, Oliver’s 1 year birthday party. We could not wait to meet Oliver, his family and close friends. It was a fun morning at the park celebrating such a happy time. He seemed to really take everything in and enjoy himself.

Here are the highlights of Oliver’s awesome birthday party! Cheers. [M]

A little swing time before the festivities.

A hug for his grandmother.

The theme of the party was frogs. Mom and Dad did a wonderful job decorating!

Mom cheering on Oliver as he blew out the candle.

To be young again!

A fun family shot.

Thanks for inviting us…we had a blast!
