Amanda and Mikey are hitched!

We had the pleasure of photographing Amanda and Mikey’s beautiful summer wedding. The ceremony and reception was held at the picturesque Bird House in Inman, SC. Amanda and Mikey are the nicest couple ever and we had a wonderful time getting to know them.

Patrick and Jessica Hitched

Last Saturday we shot Patrick and Jessica’s wedding at Holy Communion Lutheran Church in Spartanburg,SC. Vernice and I had a blast getting to photograph their special day and we really enjoyed working with everyone involved. If you remember last Saturday’s weather, it is fair to say that they picked the best day for a wedding in 2009 thus far. Everything seemed to flow perfectly and it was one of those weddings that reminds us why we’re in this wonderful business.

We met Patrick and Jessica just over a month ago to talk about their wedding day. From our conversation that day, it was easy to see how excited they were about spending the rest of their lives together. You couldn’t help but feel their love for each other as we watched them say their vows. Their family and friends all have a great sense of energy and they were so much fun to get to know.

Clinton and Janine

November 17, 2008

Vernice and I traveled to Long Island, New York in October to photograph Clinton and Janine’s beautiful autumn wedding. Everything about our trip to New York was great, except driving in Manhattan for the first time. I don’t think we have ever been so tense, especially since we didn’t get insurance on the rental car! Now that we have made it home safely, we can mark that off our life’s to-do list. Wheew!

The weather was perfect … just as perfect as this couple. We felt honored to be a part of their special day and to have been able to capture priceless moments that exemplified their love for one another.
