Our good friends Melissa and Wade tied the knot last month in Edenton, NC. There were so many emotional moments shared that it is hard to put into words the honor it was to capture their wedding day. I know we have said it several times before, but we absolutely love photographing weddings and the connection we get to experience with each couple.

I first met Wade in graduate school at Clemson University back in 2006 while he was starting his Ph. D program.  After meeting him for 5 minutes, I knew we were going to be friends for a long, long time. He was always talking about 3 things; football, Jimmy Buffet, and Melissa. Not in that order, of course. It just so happened that Melissa was coming to Clemson to see Wade the same weekend Vernice was coming to visit. We were all able to tailgate and have been friends ever since.

Melissa and Wade have such a great relationship. Plain and simple.

Here are a few of our favorites from the day. We hope you enjoy them. Cheers.[M]

What a stunning bride.

Wade seeing his bride for the first time that day…his look says it all.

Melissa walking down the aisle.

Wade hugging his dad after the ceremony.

Melissa and Wade with her mom.

The bridal party having a feast at the reception.

The cake that Aunt Pat made. Incredible!

The happy couple on the dock.

Melissa and Wade, thanks again for letting us be a part of your day. We love you both!
