We photographed Kristen and Jason’s beautiful fall wedding in Rock Hill, SC. Matthew and I have really enjoyed getting to know these two. They are such a fun couple! You may remember them from their engagement session a few months ago. Kristen and Jason, thank you so much for everything! Congratulations and God bless your journey as husband and wife. We can unveil Mary’s bridal portraits as she is now a married woman! We photographed Mary a few weeks ago at the Carolina Country Club in Spartanburg. We first met Mary almost a decade ago when we were in high school. I can’t believe I just said decade and high school in the same sentence. We have a couple more years before the 10 year reunion, but it is vastly approaching us. Scary. Anyways, we had a lot of fun with Mary on the golf course as we photographed her bridal portraits. She makes a stunning bride and we wish her nothing but happiness with her marriage.

We photographed the Mathis family a couple weeks ago at Cleveland Park in Spartanburg,SC. They are such a fun family and it was a pleasure working with them. It was our first session this year that really felt like fall weather. It was a chilly! Several times throughout the session, we caught ourselves wishing we had worn a thicker jacket. Matt and Jennifer’s son, Drew had a lot of energy which always makes for a lively photo session.

It’s hard to believe our sweet nephew, Brenson, is almost 10 months old! Time surely flies … We’re sure Jessica and Brian would agree. Brenson gets more adorable every time Matthew and I see his smiling face. It is always a joy to photograph and spend time with our favorite baby boy! Falls Park |Dianne and Brandon| Engaged

We photographed Dianne and Bradon’s engagement portraits a few weeks ago in downtown Greenville, SC. It was great meeting Brandon for the first time and it was nice seeing Dianne again. I first met Dianne while we were attending Lander University a few years ago. In spending time with them during our photo session, it is clear that they are going to have a happy marriage together.

They are getting married in Niagara Falls next July which will make for a beautiful wedding.

Hilton Head Wedding Photography|Hunter and David

We have been looking forward to Hunter and David’s wedding since February when they first got in touch with us about photographing their big day. I first met Hunter back in 2004 while we were both attending Lander University. When I would run into her on campus, she always had a big smile on her face. I believe people that know Hunter would classify her as the type of person you want to be around. She has such a fun, upbeat personality that really is contagious. After meeting David, it was clear that they really were made for each other.

Vernice and I were thrilled that we got to be a part of their wedding day and the fact that it was in the beautiful town of Hilton Head made it that much sweeter. They were married on the deck of the Shipyard Beach Club which overlooked the ocean. What a venue!

We were watching the weather channel closely the week of their wedding to see what the forecast was looking like. The meteorologist was calling for a 70% chance of rain on Saturday, which wasn’t the case at all. I am not sure we could have asked for better weather. We felt like everything concerning their wedding went so smoothly. Their wedding vendors were a big part of that.

I must admit that it was tough leaving Hilton Head that Sunday. I think Vernice and I were ready to move down to the coast. Our compromise will have to be that we visit Hilton Head more often.

One Year Portraits: Maddie

Matthew and I have the occasional ‘baby fever’ … especially when we have the pleasure of photographing the most adorable kids on the planet! Maddie is definitely a cutie! She was so much fun and had the best laugh. There were many times when Matthew and I would look at each other with the biggest smile on our faces and a little glisten in our eyes … Maddie is just that special.
