Matthew and I are so excited to blog Chad and Loren’s maternity pictures taken in Charlotte, NC! They have become such a big part of our lives and we truly value their friendship. We cannot wait to welcome baby Landry and have her as the center of our attention during double date nights! It’s going to be a blast! [V]

Ok, funny story … we decided to have colorful balloons for the shoot. Something fun, something different. So, Chad tied them to our Think Tank camera bag while Matthew snapped a few. I was holding the diffuser talking to Loren when all of a sudden Chad takes off running … after the balloons! He almost had them but, alas they were destined for a nice Saturday afternoon in the sky.

Katlyn and John kicked off our 2010 weddings … and it was a fantastic start! The wonderful couple was married in Spartanburg on a very chilly Saturday late afternoon and we enjoyed photographing every minute! These images are among our favorites highlighting the celebration. We got the opportunity to photograph Katlyn and John’s rehearsal dinner a few weeks ago at the Lyman Lake Lodge. We ate barbeque, listened to live music, and got to spend the evening with two wonderful families. Have we mentioned that we love our job?! We always enjoy rehearsal dinners and being a part of something so special for the families involved.

Vernice and I have very much enjoyed being aunt and uncle the last year to our wonderful nephew, Brenson. He recently had his 1 year birthday party and we were there to capture the festivities. I am in the middle of a great book and I thought I would spend two seconds blogging about it. Annie Leibovitz has become an inspiration to so many over the years. Her talent as photographer is mind blowing and its neat to read about someone that has devoted their entire life to this wonderful craft.
