Happy Friday! As we close out the month of January, a lot of young folks are starting to think about prom season and finding the “perfect dress.” Vernice and I have been in touch with Dimitra Designs recently and wanted to share some information on what they have to offer. We had the awesome opportunity of photographing the November issue of Belle Magazine. Belle is a magazine for the modern Southern woman. We were so excited to meet our models and get started as we shot all around Spartanburg. Our first three models were Anna, Sahaan, and Ava. After we completed our time with the kids, we photographed Allyson who is a college student in Spartanburg. They were all fun to work with and it was a great experience.

The outfits for the next three images were provided by Petit Armoire which is a children’s boutique located in downtown Spartanburg. Thank you Nita for everything!Vernice photographed the image they chose for the cover. Nice work, huh?Outfits were provided by Chelsea’s Downtown Two.Special thanks to Amanda & Daniel Bass, Lauren Walker, and everyone else at Belle. Also, we would like to thank the wonderful models! Oliver Turns One

We were excited to get an e-mail from Dawn several weeks ago asking if we would be available to photograph her son, Oliver’s 1 year birthday party. We could not wait to meet Oliver, his family and close friends. It was a fun morning at the park celebrating such a happy time. He seemed to really take everything in and enjoy himself.

We hope you are all having a great week so far! It’s hard to believe it is already August and the summer is almost behind us. Where does the time go?! Spring Fling 2009

Happy Easter

Today was a really good day for the Hammetts. We kicked the day off by attending church and then headed over to my mom’s house. From there we went next door to Papa and Mema’s house to celebrate Easter as well as my mom’s birthday (her birthday is tomorrow). We had a fun photo shoot of our baby nephew, Brenson! He is the greatest! From there, we headed to see Vernice’s parents. Today was simple…church and family. We like days like this!

We were feeling silly after church and so we snapped a few of ourselves with the 24 f1.4L II. We love that lens!

New Business Cards

I hope you are all doing well. February has been a month for us to plan and prepare for our upcoming weddings and portrait sessions. For the month of March, our weekends are packed solid and we couldn’t be more excited. We recently ordered new business cards and they came in the mail today.
We went with a simple, yet slick look. We’re excited about the rounded edges. We hope y’all like them!
