Vernice and I recently traveled to Chicago for a quick weekend getaway. It just so happened the Dave Matthews Band was performing at Wrigley Field the same time we were in town so, we decided to fit the Friday and Saturday night concerts into our schedule. There’s sarcasm here, just in case you didn’t pick up on it! WE LOVE THAT BAND! Here are a few photos documenting our fun trip to the windy city. Vernice said we have to plan a longer vacation next time just so she could have at least two days shopping on Michigan Avenue. Cheers. We had a great time at Navy Pier, though. Too bad we couldn’t ride the Ferris Wheel.We woke up super early Sunday morning and made our way back to Wrigley Field.     Great photos. You wisit very interesting places and you looks very kawaii:)(cute:). Yours photo is very good and interesting. I never beeen in Chicago so for me is something new. I found your pages just accidently becouse for people from counrty is hard to found.     I love the pictures! You can tell that you guys had a great time! My favorite is the picture of the lighthouse at Navy Pier. Keep up the good work. Next time I need any photography done, you will be the one I call!

Where do I even begin?! I guess it all started in sixth grade when Jeri and I first became friends. Then we found out we lived in the same neighborhood so naturally we spent every other day riding our bikes (the dogs usually chased Jeri … I still don’t know what that was all about – this is an inside joke!), talking, laughing, and pretty much making sure we were going to be in each other’s lives forever. Enter Eduardo (my big brother) and Donnette (Jeri’s big sister). They started dating while we were freshmen at Dorman High and the rest is history. Jeri and I of course stayed close throughout high school. We truly grew up together in those four years … just learning about one another and about ourselves. We were fortunate not to have too much guy drama, which was AWESOME! Enter Matthew (mine) and Marques (hers). Jeri, Donnette, and I were roommates at College of Charleston all four years. Yes, Donnette … I’m counting you sleeping on an air mattress at our freshman dorm room! Shortly after graduation, we moved back home to Spartanburg and were yet again neighbors. A couple years later, Matthew and I got married … Jeri and Marques moved to Charlotte … and time has truly flown by.

Jeri, you are my best friend and sister for life. July 30, 2011 cannot get here soon enough … we are SO EXCITED for you and Marques! [V]One of my all time favorites! Of course taken by my wonderful husband!For the next two, we could not decide which one we liked better. What do y’all think?Love this!Congratulations again! We can’t wait to see y’all soon!
