Matthew and I wanted to end this very busy weekend with a blog post all about our ‘niece’ … Landry! She is Chad and Loren’s sweet baby girl and we just can’t get enough of her! Landry is such a wonderful addition to our double dates. She seems to enjoy our conversations and even puts in her two cents at times. Matthew and I feel very blessed to get to spend a lot of time with Chad, Loren, and Landry … they truly are a part of our family! [V]She was so cute in her tutu!She got a little fussy … but she is still so adorable!Sweet angel!Many thanks to Loren and ‘Studio Chad’ … haha! We love you guys!

Matthew and I first heard about Adri’s story during a very difficult time. We had just experienced a miscarriage and were both very much heart broken. Learning about Adri’s struggle and empathizing with her family and friends truly put things in perspective. Having a child is one of God’s most gracious miracles. To conceive … to carry … to have a healthy delivery … to nourish … to nurture … to love … to sacrifice … all these and more are blessings of being a parent.

We wanted to do something special for the Patterson’s and to also meet the courageous Adri. We met up with them at Furman University which is Josh’s Alma Mater. Matthew and I really enjoyed touring the campus and getting to know the wonderful family! [V]Adri enjoying the bright purple irises.
