Matthew and I first heard about Adri’s story during a very difficult time. We had just experienced a miscarriage and were both very much heart broken. Learning about Adri’s struggle and empathizing with her family and friends truly put things in perspective. Having a child is one of God’s most gracious miracles. To conceive … to carry … to have a healthy delivery … to nourish … to nurture … to love … to sacrifice … all these and more are blessings of being a parent.
We wanted to do something special for the Patterson’s and to also meet the courageous Adri. We met up with them at Furman University which is Josh’s Alma Mater. Matthew and I really enjoyed touring the campus and getting to know the wonderful family! [V]
