I am in the middle of a great book and I thought I would spend two seconds blogging about it. Annie Leibovitz has become an inspiration to so many over the years. Her talent as photographer is mind blowing and its neat to read about someone that has devoted their entire life to this wonderful craft. If you are interested in photography, you will appreciate this book. That’s all I have to say…now go read it! Cheers. [M]

An Enjoyable Read | Annie Leibovitz “At Work”
January 15, 2010Columbia Metro Center | Lisa and Sam Married
January 11, 2010We photographed Lisa and Sam’s wedding just before Thanksgiving and had a blast in downtown Columbia. I have known Sam for three years and met Lisa about a year and a half ago. They are both educators at heart and love inspiring others. They really are a perfect fit for one another. Last week I got an email from Sam letting us know how much they are enjoying married life. We are happy for them and it was great being a part of their wedding day.
Here are some of our favorites from Lisa and Sam’s wedding. Cheers. [M]
One of our favorite groomsmen shots ever!

The beaming newlyweds.
Their reception was held at the Columbia Metro Center.

All of their fun treats.
We had fun on our mini-shoot around the convention center.
I love this shot Vernice got of them.

Sam and Lisa: May God bless all of your future endeavors as husband and wife. Thank you for everything!
Our Favorites | Weddings 2009
January 8, 2010Today concludes our favorite images of 2009 and we thought we would finish off this week with some of the weddings and bridal portraits we completed. It is hard to put into words the excitement we have when we book a wedding. We always have a celebratory date at Kanpai with each booking. We had some amazing couples we worked with in 2009 and we are thankful for the relationships we have formed with all of our couples. We have some really exciting opportunities this year and we can’t wait to start our first wedding in 2010 which is only two weeks away. For now, enjoy some of the highlights of this past year. Cheers. [M]
