We shot Jon and Emily’s wedding a couple of weeks ago in the chapel of First Presbyterian Church, which happens to be one of the prettiest churches in Spartanburg. Vernice and I went to high school with Emily and we were so thrilled to find an email from her several months inquiring about our photography!! Jon and Emily make such a great couple. They were lots of fun and brought so much energy throughout the day!!!
Their reception was at the beautiful Walker Hall, an estate completed in 1859. If you are a bride looking for a reception site, we highly recommend it!
As you look through some of our favorites from the day, you’ll quickly see what this day meant to them as well as what they mean to each other. Enjoy.

This next shot is of Trey which is a significant part of Jon’s life. Trey has been with Jon throughout all the exciting times in his life. Trey is a cool lil guy!

Emily with her bridesmaids… Vernice and I shot the outside formals under an umbrella. We had a lot of rain that day.

Their ceremony in the chapel…

Rain on a wedding day is considered to bring good luck and blessings to the couple.

I think we said something like, “stare deep into each others eyes for a moment”

We both love this shot!!

Jon and Emily, may God continue to bless the two of you! Thank you for choosing us to celebrate your love together. Cheers. [M]

Thanks loads, you guys. You were great to work with, and we can’t wait to see the rest of the pics!!!
