Happy Birthday Papa!

March 25, 2009

Today is a special day for our family as we watch our grandfather turn 85 years old.  Our blog readers should recognize his face from the Timeless Love post we did a couple of months ago.  I have said it before and I will proudly say it again today, Papa is my mentor. He was my co-best man in our wedding and he means everything to Vernice and I. As soon as we get a sunny day, we will be doing a new photo shoot of Papa and Mema.
For now, join me in saying Happy Birthday to Papa!! Cheers. [M]

Last Saturday we shot Patrick and Jessica’s wedding at Holy Communion Lutheran Church in Spartanburg,SC. Vernice and I had a blast getting to photograph their special day and we really enjoyed working with everyone involved. If you remember last Saturday’s weather, it is fair to say that they picked the best day for a wedding in 2009 thus far. Everything seemed to flow perfectly and it was one of those weddings that reminds us why we’re in this wonderful business.

We met Patrick and Jessica just over a month ago to talk about their wedding day. From our conversation that day, it was easy to see how excited they were about spending the rest of their lives together. You couldn’t help but feel their love for each other as we watched them say their vows. Their family and friends all have a great sense of energy and they were so much fun to get to know.

Here are a few pictures from their wedding day.  Leave some comments if you get a chance. We love hearing from our blog readers!! Cheers. [M]

Isn’t she cute??

What’s a wedding without the kiss…

I love this shot that Vernice took of them during their first dance.

We both loved this shot of Jessica with her dad dancing.

This makes us smile!

The following pictures were taken outside of Summit Pointe where they had their beautiful reception.

Vernice and I had the pleasure of shooting Patrick and Jessica’s wedding yesterday. They are a great couple and we had a lot of fun being a part of their wedding day. We’ll have lots more to come soon, but we want to share a couple with you this evening. Cheers [M]
