As I sit here and type this post, I can’t help but smile as I think about our new nephew, Brenson. He is the most adorable little baby boy I have ever seen. Our sister, Jessica gave birth to him this past weekend. Vernice and I still remember the day that Brian and Jessica came over to our apartment to tell us that she was pregnant. As our eyes teared up with joy, we knew their baby boy would be here soon. On Saturday night, God gave our family a precious gift.

We took lots of pictures throughout the day, because lets face it, we had a lot of time on our hands and we wanted to capture this wonderful day. The wait seemed like forever as we sat there in the hospital. At 9pm Brenson was born. After meeting Brenson, our whole family feels blessed.

New Website Soon: I know it has been a few days since our last post. I promise we haven’t been slacking on our work. We have put all of our attention towards creating a new website for Hammett Photography. We’re hoping to launch very soon. The URL will remain the same. It’s probable that our main website will be down in the process. Hang tight because I think you’ll enjoy the new site. Yes, I did just rhyme.

Price Increase: Our new wedding prices will take effect January 31st. This will affect all 2009 wedding dates that have not been reserved. If you are considering booking us for your wedding, you can save by booking before the end of January.

Matthew and I had the wonderful opportunity to shoot Brian and Jessica’s maternity portraits last weekend. These photographs are so special to us because Brenson will be our first nephew … and we love him already! We are anticipating his arrival sometime very soon and are quite excited to say the least. A big thanks to Brian and Jessica for letting us be a part of this special time. We love you both very much and we are praying that God will bless you with a healthy delivery.
