There is a new American Express commercial featuring our all-time favorite musician, Mr. Dave Matthews. In the commercial Dave says, “You can’t ever know if your wildest dreams are going to come true but, to have people that believe in you makes all the difference. ‘Cause then what matters is what you are doing and how you feel about it.” Vernice and I were talking this morning about how much we like this statement.

We discovered earlier this year that we wanted to take our photography to the next level. I remember our first paid photo shoot and how nervous we were. Vernice told me to breathe and relax. I told her the same and we got through it just fine. We had a vision for what we wanted and it felt great to run with it.

Since then we have booked more clients, grown as photographers, and learned with more clarity what this business really means to us. In photography and with so many other areas in our lives, we have been blessed to have such a great support network. Having people believe in Hammett Photography has allowed us to grow more confident and thus become stronger in our craft.

We would like to say thank you to all our clients and blog visitors! Keep coming back and know that your support is never taken for granted.
